OeKB Südosteuropa Holding Ges.m.b.H. was founded in 2002 by Oesterreichische Kontrollbank AG (OeKB) together with Euler Hermes Kreditversicherungs-AG Hamburg as "Euler Hermes Südosteuropa Versicherungsholding GmbH". At that time, Euler Hermes held 80%, OeKB 20%.
At the beginning of 2005, OeKB took over Euler Hermes' 80% share and renamed the company as "OeKB Südosteuropa Holding Ges.m.b.H.". Since then it is a 100% part of OeKB Group.
Since July 2008 the company is a 100% subsidiary of OeKB EH Beteiligungs- und Management AG.

Credit Insurance Markets in South Eastern Europe
OeKB Südosteuropa works for the credit insurance markets in South Eastern Europe. Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro as well as Bosnia & Herzegovina are in the focus of the company.
Creation of Local Credit Insurance Facilities
Main task of OeKB Südosteuropa is the creation of local credit insurance facilities for marketable risks under the standard of a professional private credit insurer for companies located in the countries mentioned. It is our goal to cover both the export and the domestic risk.
Local Network
In addition to the existing shareholdings, OeKB Südosteuropa is in contact with relevant cooperation partners in all countries. The cooperation with local partners is important with regard to the local networks.
Cooperation Partners
In its foundation activities OeKB Südosteuropa is supported by Prisma Kreditversicherungs-AG's know-how. For this purpose a cooperation agreement has been signed. The Euler Hermes group has expressed their intention to cooperate. A cooperation with OeKB Versicherung AG in the particular countries will be established.
