OeKB South Eastern Europe Holding was founded in 2002 by Oesterreichische Kontrollbank AG (OeKB) together with Euler Hermes Kreditversicherungs-AG Hamburg.
Since 2005 the company "OeKB South Eastern Europe" is a 100% subsidiary of the OeKB group.

- Development of the credit insurance markets in South Eastern Europe. Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro as well as Bosnia & Herzegovina are in the focus of the company.
- Creation of local credit insurance facilities for marketable risks under the standard of a professional private credit insurer for companies located in the countries mentioned.
